When this topic is raised, ay would turn to corporate organizations, government, etc. pointing fingers of blame and condemnation in a righteous rhetoric of what, when, how, where and why. however, who should be socially responsible and held accountable for the decline in societal values stemming from a lack thereof? By Definition, Social Responsibility is an ethical theory in which individuals are accountable for fulfilling their civic duty, and the actions of an individual must benefit the whole of society. In this way, there must be a balance between economic growth and the welfare of society and the environment. It is an ethical framework and suggests that an individual has an obligation to work and cooperate with other individuals and organizations for the benefit of society at large.

Going by the definition and synonyms, everyone and thing is corrupt @ some level. Can we therefor be devoid of corruption or it is our heritage and we must embrace it? What then constitutes corruption and the practice thereof?
